Slide rod out of housing (1).
NOTE
Slide gland nut to expose flat ends of rod.
5.
Remove clevis (4) attached to rod end by loosening allen set-screw (3). Unscrew clevis from rod.
6.
Slide gland nut (2) off of rod.
7.
Remove all seals (5) from gland nut and piston (2), and discard.

NOTE
If any of these parts are pitted, scored, gouged, or rusted, cylinder is beyond field repair and should be
replaced.
Clean and inspect rod, piston, gland nut, and housing (1) for pitting, scoring, gouges, or signs of rust.
