STEERING COLUMN BASE AND BRAKE PEDAL MAINTENANCE - CONTINUED

ASSEMBLY
1.
Install two grease fittings (24) to brake pedal (6).
2.
Install roller (23) and shaft (22) to brake pedal (6) with two retaining rings (21).
3.
Install roller (26) and shaft (28) to lever (25) with two retaining rings (27).
4.
Install lever (25) and shaft (20) to steering column base (5) with two retaining rings (19).
5.
Install jamnut (18) and screw (17) to steering column base (5) in position noted during disassembly.
WARNING
Spring must be placed under tension. Use care when installing spring. Wear protective eyewear to prevent injury.
6.
Install brake pedal (6) and spring (14) to steering column base (5) with pivot rod (15) and two setscrews (16).
7.
Install throttle position sensor to steering column base (WP 0061 00).
8.
Install brake inching switch to brake pedal (WP 0096 00).
