Raise jack until it contacts skid plate.2.Remove eight locknuts (1), screws (2), and 16 washers (3). Discard locknuts.3.Lower jack and remove skid plate (4) from skid plate brackets (8).NOTEPerform step 4 for each of two skid plate brackets.4.Remove two locknuts (5), screws (6), four lockwashers (7), and skid plate bracket (8) from vehicle.
