CAB TRANSPORT LIFT STRUCTURE INSTALLATION
NOTE
Perform step 1 for each transport lift bracket.
1.
Install three wear plates (64) with three washers (63), nine screws (62), and new locknuts (61).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance
during procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning
may result in death or injury to personnel.
Lifting device must have a 2,000-lb (980-kg) capacity to lift cab transport lift brackets. Failure to
follow this warning may result in death or injury to personnel.
2.
With assistance, use a nylon sling and suitable lifting device to install two transport lift brackets (52) on vehicle with 16
washers (60) and eight screws (53). DO NOT fully tighten screws.
