4. TEST BRUSH HOLDER (25) INSULATION.
a. Connect multimeter test leads to two brush
holders (25) that share a common mounting
post.
b. A LOW resistance reading indicates an insulator
bushing (24) or washer (23) is defective or
misaligned.

If necessary, remove and reinstall insulator
bushings (24) and washers (23).
