PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS)
NOT FULLY MISSION
Review all WARNINGs, CAUTIONs, and NOTEs before per-
forming PMCS and operating the machine.
Perform all PMCS checks if:
a. You are the assigned operator but have not operated the
machine since the last weekly checks.
b. You are operating the machine for the first time.
Unless otherwise indicated, perform PMCS with machine
parked on level ground, parking brake applied, transmission in N
(Neutral), container handler forks lowered to the ground, engine
shut down, and wheels blocked.
If leakage is detected during performance of PMCS, further
investigation is required to determine location and cause of leak.
Overall View Visually check for leakage on or under Class III oil, coolant, or
machine (oil, fuel, coolant, and hydraulic oil leaks are evi-
dent. Any fuel leak is evident.
