PROBLEM NO. 21
HI TEMP HYD OIL REMAINS ON AFTER HYDRAULIC OIL TEMPERATURE IS BELOW
INDICATOR LIGHTS
190F (87.8C) (NOTE A)
POWER switch ON.
NOTE A: Lower a thermometer into the hydraulic oil tank. If hydraulic oil temperature is below 190F (87.8C), go to Step 1.
If temperature is above 190F (87.8C) but below 215F (101.7C) wait until temperature comes down below 190F (87.8C), and then
go to Step 1. If temperature is above 215F (101.7C), problem is in hydraulic system; notify Direct Support.
This circuit uses a normally open temperature switch which closes when oil temperature in hydraulic tank exceeds 215F (101.7C). The switch
opens where oil temperature drops below 190F (87.8C).
