ROCKER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT)

REMARKS
1. Fuel lines (3)
a. Disconnect and remove.
b. Cap fuel line openings.
2. Nuts, washers (2)
Remove.
3. Locks (1), fuel line adapters
Remove from valve cover base.
4. Rocker shaft capscrews (4)
Remove.
NOTE
Loosen the capscrews evenly, alternating from
one to the next until all are completely loose.
5. Rocker shaft assembly (5)
Remove.
INSTALLATION
1. Rocker shaft assembly (1)
Put in position on cylinder head.
NOTE
Make sure rocker arms and push rods are
alined before capscrews that secure rocker
shafts are tightened.
