1.
Cylinder liner
Using a ridge reamer, remove carbon at top of
cylinder liner.
2.
Crankshaft
Rotate until piston is at bottom dead center.
3.
Connecting rod nuts (1)
Remove.
4.
Bearing cap (2)
Remove.
NOTE
Before removing connecting rods, cover con-
necting rod bolt threads with rubber hose or
tape to prevent scratching crankshaft.
