Steering wheel
Turn continuously to the left.
2.
Engine
Run at 2000 rpm.
3.
Manual load valve on flow meter
Close valve slowly clockwise until you have a
pressure of 1000 psi (703 kgs/sq. meter).
4.
Flow rate
Record.
5.
Flow differential
Calculate. Find the flow differential by sub-
tracting the flow rate for this test from the
base flow rate, (test 3). Find the percentage
of flow loss by dividing the base flow rate
(test 3) by the flow differential of this test.
