OPERATE PARKING BRAKE
WARNING
Never leave the operator’s position without applying the parking brake. Failure to follow this warning may
result in death or injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
1.
Push the parking brake lever forward to engage the parking brakes at front and rear axles. Raise release lever and pull the
lever rearward to release the parking brakes.
2.
A RED indicator light will illuminate on the instrument panel when the parking brake is applied.
3.
A buzzer will sound if the driver attempts to leave the driver’s seat without first applying the parking brake.
4.
After one emergency application using parking brake, notify Organizational Maintenance to replace parking brake pads.
