22. Fuel Gage Not Working Properly.
1. Check fuel gage for damage or
disconnected wires.
a. Reconnect wires.
b. Replace fuel gage if found to
be damaged (WP 0072 00).
2. Remove fuel level sending
unit from fuel tank (WP 0094
00).
3. Test fuel level sending unit by
attaching multimeter leads to
sending
unit
electrical
connector. Slide sending unit
float along rod while noting
multimeter
scale.
Meter
should
indicate
varying
amounts of ohms resistance.
Replace fuel level sending unit
(WP 0094 00).
23. Drivers ECS Display Screen Will Not
Display.
1. Remove cab circuit breaker
panel cover and ensure that
ECS display screen circuit
breaker number F31 is not
tripped.
Reset circuit breaker as required
(WP 0073 00).
2. Remove servo ECU (790)
cover from operators seat
base and slide ECU mounting
tray out (WP 0079 00).
3. Check junction block 152 for
loose or missing connections.
Connect any loose or missing
connections.
4. Check
voltage
between
connector X152 pin 3 and
chassis. Voltage should be
24V.
If voltage is not present, repair or
replace
connectors
between
circuit
breaker
panel
and
connector X152 (WP 0111 00).
5. Remove steering wheel to gain
access to ECS display screen
(WP 0129 00).
6. Remove cover from ECS
display screen to gain access
to ECS (795) (WP 0080 00).
