TM 10-3930-675-20-2 0069 00-2 ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED 0069 00 REMOVAL - CONTINUED 2. Remove adjusting link screw (8) securing alternator (7) to adjusting bracket (9). 3. With assistant holding alternator (7), remove mounting screw (10), locknut (12), and washer (13) securing alternator to mounting bracket (11). Remove alternator and discard locknut. INSTALLATION 1. Position alternator (7) on mounting bracket (11) and secure with screw (10), washer (13), and new locknut (12). Tighten hand tight. 2. Install adjusting link screw (8). Tighten hand tight. 3.
