TM 10-3930-675-20-20131 00-5STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED0131 00INSTALLATION1.Install steering column (2) to steering column base (33) with eight washers (32), four screws (31), and new locknuts(30).2.Install tube (26), bolt (27), washer (28), and lever (29) to steering column base (33).3.Position bottom plastic housing (5) and top plastic housing (16) to steering column (2).4.Position each of 13 connectors to steering column (2), thru rubber bellows (7), and up thru bottom plastic housing (5) tofront of top plastic housing (16).NOTE•Perform steps 5 thru 10 at front of top plastic housing.•Apply electrically conductive grease to connectors before connections are made.5.Connect five connectors (25) of steering column wiring harness (17) to five indicator lights (24).6.Connect ground wire (21) to transmission indicator light panel (20) with lockwasher (23) and nut (22).202122,23
