DISASSEMBLY - CONTINUED
NOTE
Perform step 3 to remove bracket from front of engine cover.
3.
Remove three locknuts (12), washers (13), washers (14), screws (15), and bracket (16) from front of engine cover (1).
Discard locknuts.
NOTE
Perform step 4 to remove weatherseal.
4.
Remove weatherseal (17) and cut new weatherseal to same length. Discard old weatherseal.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE
Perform step 1 to install weatherseal to engine cover.
1.
Apply adhesive to new weatherseal (17) and install weatherseal to edges of engine cover (1).
NOTE
Perform step 2 to install bracket to front of engine cover.
2.
Install bracket (16) to front of engine cover (1) with three screws (15), washers (14), washers (13), and new locknuts
(12).
NOTE
Perform step 3 to install each of two latches.
3.
Install plate (10) and latch (2) to engine cover (1) with four washers (9), screws (11), and new locknuts (8).
