CAB POSITION PROXIMITY SWITCHES REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

CAB-MOUNTED PROXIMITY SWITCH INSTALLATION
1.
Position proximity switch (1) on cab.
2.
Connect connector (7) of proximity switch (1) to electrical panel (6).
3.
Install jamnut (5) on proximity switch (1) and push proximity switch outside of cab.
4.
Outside of cab, install jamnut (2) on proximity switch (1). DO NOT fully tighten jamnut.

NOTE
Proximity switch should be positioned and adjusted flush with the end of protector collar.
5.
Adjust position of proximity switch (1), as noted during removal, by adjusting position of jamnuts (2 and 5).
6.
Tighten jamnut (2).
CAB SUPPORT-MOUNTED PROXIMITY SWITCH REMOVAL
1.
Remove middle and rear transmission access covers (WP 0142 00).
