NOTE
Because tophandler junction box is disconnected from RTCH electrical system, error codes will
appear on driver's ECS display screen when boom is operated. These error codes will include num-
bers 245 to 265 as well as others. To continue operation, reset driver's display and use override button
on right side of joystick housing (TM 10-3930-675-10).

Operate boom (13) while pressing override switch to lift boom clear of tophandler (4) (TM 10-3930-675-10).

Back RTCH away from trailer.
CAUTION
The boom support must be lowered to its lowest position before installing boom rest, transport.
Damage will occur to the equipment if the boom is fully lowered when the tophandler is removed
from the boom and the boom support is lowered to its lowest position.
19.
Install boom rest, transport (14):
a.
Fully retract boom (TM 10-3030-675-10).
b.
Remove boom rest, transport (14) from stowed position (rear of RTCH).
c.
Install the boom rest, transport (14) on boom (13).
