FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
1.
Attach a nylon sling to lifting eyes at top of fuel tank (4) and to suitable lifting device. Take up slack in sling.
CAUTION
Use caution not to allow fuel tank to contact hydraulic reservoir or other components of RTCH as it is
being installed.
2.
Raise fuel tank (4) and position fuel tank at frame.
3.
Secure fuel tank (4) to frame with three screws (2), six washers (3), and three new locknuts (1).
4.
Install four spacer washers (7), two screws (5), and new locknuts (6) on fuel tank (4) and bracket (8).
5.
Connect cab sliding cylinder to fuel tank (WP 0174 00).
6.
Install right-side step (WP 0139 00).
7.
Connect fuel supply and return hoses to fuel tank (WP 0060 00).
8.
Connect arctic heater fuel lines to fuel tank, if equipped with arctic heater (WP 0060 00).
9.
Install fuel level sending unit (WP 0095 00).
10.
Install muffler (WP 0063 00).
11.
Fill fuel tank (TM 10-3930-675-10).
12.
Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.
