RADIATOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Remove eight screws (1), washers (2), and angle plate (3) from top of vehicle.

Disconnect air intake hoses and tubes from radiator assembly (WP 0058 00).
3.
Disconnect cooling system hoses from radiator assembly (WP 0065 00).
4.
Disconnect hydraulic cooling fan hoses and fittings from radiator assembly (WP 0178 00).
5.
Disconnect hydraulic hoses from cooling fan motor and bypass valve (WP 0178 00).
6.
Disconnect electrical connection from bypass valve and remove wiring harness from radiator fan support.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance
during procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy objects supported only by a lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
Lifting device must have a capacity of approximately 1,000 lb (454 kg) to lift radiator grille and
radiator. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
7.
Attach a suitable lifting device to radiator grille (6).
8.
Remove six screws (4), washers (5), and radiator grille (6) from side of vehicle.
