WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in
injury to personnel.
16.
Wrap a nylon sling around pump (4) and attach sling to a suitable lifting device.

With assistance, remove four screws (46) and pump (4) from transmission (45).

NOTE
Perform steps 18 thru 25 to remove fittings from pump, if a new pump is being installed.

Remove fittings (22 and 25) from pump (4).
19.
On underside of pump (4), remove four screws, flange, hose (11), and O-ring. Discard O-ring.
