3. Place ignition switch to OFF
position
and
disconnect
actuator harness from engine
ECU.
a. Inspect engine ECU and
actuator harness connector
for dirty, corroded, bent,
broken, pushed back, and
extended pins.
Clean and repair connector(s) as
required (WP 0111 00).
b. Check engine ECU and
actuator harness connector
for dirt or moisture in or on
connector and for missing
or
damaged
connector
seals.
Remove dirt and moisture from
connector. Replace missing or
damaged connector seals (WP
0111 00).
4. Place ignition switch to OFF
position
and
disconnect
actuator wire from fuel
shutoff
solenoid
and
disconnect actuator harness
connector from engine ECU.
Measure resistance from
actuator harness pin 33 to
fuel shutoff control wire.
Resistance should be less
than 10 ohms.
If engine harness requires
replacement, notify SRA.
<10 OHMS
