Ensure that ignition switch isin OFF position. Disconnectsensor harness from intake airtemperature sensor.a. Inspect intake airtemperature sensor andsensor harness connectorsfor dirty, corroded, bent,broken, and pushed back orextended pins.Clean and repair connector(s) asrequired (WP 0111 00).b. Check intake airtemperature sensor andsensor harness for dirt ormoisture in or onconnectors and for missingor damaged connectorseals.Remove dirt and moisture fromconnector. Replace missing ordamaged connector seals (WP0111 00).2. Place ignition switch in OFFposition and disconnectsensor harness from intake airtemperature sensor.3. Measure resistance from pinA (or 1) to pin B (or 2) ofintake air temperature sensor.Resistance should be 175-244k ohms.If resistance is not as specified,replace intake air temperaturesensor (WP 0093 00).USE TEST LEAD KIT P/N 3822758175-244K OHMS
