TRANSMISSION AND FRONT AND REAR AXLE VENT HOSES
REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

FRONT AXLE VENT HOSE INSTALLATION
1.
Position front axle vent hose (7) to vehicle.
2.
Apply sealing compound to threads of adapter (9) and install adapter to front axle (8).
3.
Connect end of vent hose (7) to adapter (9).
4.
At other end of vent hose (7), install front axle vent (4).
5.
Install clamp (6) around front axle vent (4).
6.
Install clamp (6) to plate (5) with screw (3), two washers (2), and new locknut (1).
7.
Install new tiedown straps.
8.
Install engine cover (WP 0143 00).
REAR AXLE VENT HOSE REMOVAL
1.
Remove screw (12), washer (13), and clamp (10) holding rear axle vent (11) to frame (14) of vehicle.
2.
Remove clamp (10) from rear axle vent (11).
3.
Remove rear axle vent (11) from vent hose (15).
