WARNING
Propeller shafts are heavy; they weigh 121 lb (55 kg). Support end of propeller shaft as nuts or screws are
removed to prevent shaft from falling. Failure to follow this warning may cause serious injury to personnel.
CAUTION
Place witness marks at slip joint and propeller shaft housing to aid in reassembly, in the event propeller shaft
becomes separated. Failure to follow this caution may cause excessive vibration in propeller shaft and trans-
mission damage.
NOTE
Note position of propeller shaft on vehicle to aid in installation.
