TRANSMISSION OIL DRAINING - CONTINUED
1.
Position a suitable container under transmission.
2.
Remove plug (1) from transmission (2) and allow oil to drain into container.

1.
Apply pipe sealant to threads of plug (1) and install plug in transmission (2).
2.
Fill transmission with oil (TM 10-3930-675-10).
3.
Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.
4.
Check transmission oil level with engine idling in neutral and parking brake applied after engine reaches operating tem-
perature (TM 10-3930-675-10).
5.
Shut down engine and check transmission oil level (TM 10-3930-675-10). Add oil as necessary to obtain proper level.
6.
Perform transmission calibration (WP 0225 00).
TRANSMISSION OIL FILTERS REMOVAL
WARNING
At operating temperature, transmission oil is hot. Allow transmission to cool before performing main-
tenance on transmission or transmission system components. Failure to do so could result in injury to
personnel.
NOTE
Ensure suitable container is placed under oil filters. Filters will contain transmission oil and can spill.
