TRANSMISSION OIL DIPSTICK HOSE AND PIPE REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Remove transmission dipstick (2) from transmission oil dipstick hose (4).
2.
Loosen hose clamp (3) and disconnect hose (4) from bracket (1). Remove hose clamp from hose.
3.
At other end of hose (4), loosen hose clamp (5) and remove hose from pipe (13). Remove hose clamp from hose.
4.
From underneath vehicle, remove locknut (6), two washers (7), screw (8), and clamp (9) from bracket (10). Remove
clamp from pipe (13).
5.
Remove screw (11), washer (12), and bracket (10) from transmission (16).
6.
Remove two screws (14), pipe (13), and seal (15) from transmission (16). Discard seal.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install new seal (15) and pipe (13) on transmission (16) with two screws (14).
2.
Install bracket (10) on transmission (16) with washers (12) and screw (11). Tighten screw to 38 lb-ft (52 Nm).
3.
Position clamp (9) on pipe (13) and install clamp on bracket (10) with screw (8), two washers (7), and new locknut (6).
