REMOTE HYDRAULIC CONTROL COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Ensure all hydraulic hoses are removed from compartment (2) (WP 0181 00).
2.
Position forklift truck against side of vehicle with forklift tines supporting weight of compartment (2).
3.
Remove four locknuts, eight washers, and four screws securing compartment (2) to side of frame (1). Discard locknuts.
4.
Remove six locknuts (3), twelve washers (4), and six screws (5) securing top of compartment (2) to top of frame (1).
Discard locknuts.
5.
Remove compartment (2) from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1.
Use forklift truck to position compartment (2) against vehicle frame (1).
2.
Install four screws, eight washers, and four new locknuts securing compartment (2) to side of frame (1).
3.
Install six screws (5), twelve washers (4), and six new locknuts (3) securing top of compartment (2) to top of frame (1).
Remove forklift truck.
4.
Install mudguard (WP 0150 00).
5.
Install left-side stair assembly (WP 0140 00).
6.
Install boom lowering solenoid valve (WP 0171 00).
7.
Install ball valve (shutoff valve #5) (WP 0182 00).
8.
Install boom folding control valve (WP 0172 00).
9.
Install cab transport control valve (WP 0170 00).
10.
Install hydraulic system test point fittings (WP 0180 00).
11.
Install oil sampling valves (WP 0055 00).
12.
Operate cab lift/lower lever in remote hydraulic control compartment to lower cab transport lift (TM 10-3930-675-10).
