HYDRAULIC SYSTEM COOLING HOSES AND FITTINGS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

NOTE
This work package covers replacement of hydraulic hoses and fittings that support the following
hydraulic system components:
engine-driven hydraulic pump
cooling fan
front and rear service brake cooling lines
Tag all hydraulic lines.
REMOVAL
1.
Using appropriate illustration (refer to foldouts, FO-4 and FO-5) as a guide, remove damaged hose(s) or fitting(s). Cap
or plug openings.
NOTE
Note position of tiedown straps and clamps to aid in installation.
2.
Remove tiedown strap(s) and clamp(s) (if applicable). Discard tiedown straps.
3.
Discard O-ring(s) removed.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
hydraulic hoses and applying proper torque.
1.
Lubricate and install new O-ring(s).
2.
Remove caps/plugs and install and tighten hose(s) or fitting(s).
3.
Install clamp(s) and new tiedown strap(s) (if applicable) in same position as noted during removal.
4.
Check oil level in hydraulic reservoir (WP 0050 00).
5.
Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.
6.
If removed, install radiator assembly top grating and bottom splash shield (WP 0143 00 and WP 0144 00).
NOTE
Replace hydraulic reservoir return filters after 100 hours of operation (WP 0185 00).
