REMOVAL
1.
Mark accessory drive pulley position as follows:
a.
Remove inspection hole plug (1) in gear cover.
NOTE
When timing mark is visible, cylinders no. 1 and 6 are at top dead center and accessory drive pulley T-
C mark and keyway are at 12 o'clock position.
b.
Rotate engine using accessory driveshaft until camshaft gear timing mark is visible.
