WARNING
Hydraulic jacks are intended only for lifting RTCH, not for supporting vehicle to perform main-
tenance. DO NOT get under vehicle after it is raised unless it is properly supported with blocks or
other suitable cribbing. Failure to observe this warning may result in death or injury to person-
nel.
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance
during procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning
may result in death or injury to personnel.
Forklift truck used to replace front axle assembly must have a 10,000-lb capacity to ensure task is
performed in a safe manner. Failure to follow this warning may result in death or injury to per-
sonnel.
