SHIFT VALVE (6041) REMOVAL
NOTE
Refer to Foldout, FO-9 as a guide to remove hoses and fittings from the valve or component.
Note position of tiedown straps and clamps to aid in installation.
1.
Press in on retaining clip and disconnect electrical lead (11) from solenoid (7).
2.
Remove tideown straps and clamps (if applicable). Discard tiedown straps.
3.
Remove two bolts (8), nuts (9), washers (10), and valves (1 and 5) from mounting plate (6).
4.
Remove three hoses (14) and O-rings (15) from valve (1). Discard O-rings.
5.
Remove three fittings (13) and two check valves (12) from valve (1).

SHIFT VALVE (6041) INSTALLATION
NOTE
hydraulic hoses and applying proper torque.
Perform step 1 to install fittings removed from old valve, if a new valve is being installed.
1.
Install three fittings (13) and two check valves (12) on valve (1).
2.
Lubricate and install three new O-rings (15).
3.
Install and tighten three hoses (14) on valve (1).
4.
Install valves (5 and 1) on mounting plate (6) with two bolts (8), washers (10), and nuts (9). Tighten in accordance with
