CAUTION
Piston, connecting rod, and connecting rod cap are matched sets to cylinder from which they were
removed. Ensure they are tagged for identification with cylinder number and placed in a storage con-
tainer or in a location to protect them from damage.

Tag piston and connecting rod assembly (10) and matching connecting rod cap (5) for cylinder location. Place in tempo-
rary storage container.

Repeat steps 2 thru 13 to remove each remaining piston and connecting rod assembly.
DISASSEMBLY
NOTE
Ensure all component parts are tagged with cylinder number from which they were removed.
Perform steps 1 thru 4 to disassemble each piston and connecting rod assembly.

Using piston ring expander, remove and tag three piston rings (11).
