Check engine coolant to ensure safe operation at temperature range down to -50F (-46C) (TB 750-651).
6.
Drain fuel tank. Refill with arctic grade diesel fuel (TM 10-3930-675-10).
7.
Inspect engine drive belts for signs of cracking. Replace belts as required (WP 0071 00 and WP 0195 00).
8.
Drain windshield washer fluid (WP 0159 00).
9.
Start vehicle and allow engine to reach operating temperature (TM 10-3930-675-10).
10.
Open both left- and right-side twistlock cylinder bypass valves on tophandler, by using a flat tip screwdriver to turn slot-
ted area on valve so it is in line with fluid flow through valve.

Operate twistlocks at least five times, while activating override switch, to circulate hydraulic oil within twistlock cylin-
ders (TM 10-3930-675-10).
12.
Close both left- and right-side twistlock cylinder bypass valves, by turning slotted area so it is perpendicular to fluid
flow through valve.
13.
Perform operational check of all vehicle systems (TM 10-3930-675-10).
