MALFUNCTION
Hydraulic hoses are damaged, or fittings are loose or damaged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check hydraulic hoses for damage and for loose or damaged fittings (WP 0084).
Replace damaged hoses or fittings, tighten loose fittings (WP 0084).
MALFUNCTION
Stowage cylinder is damaged, casing is damaged or bent, cylinder rod is damaged or bent.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check stowage cylinder, casing and cylinder rod for damage or bends (WP 0064).
NOTE
P8 has 24V only when STOW or RETRIEVE button on control panel
is activated.
When ignition switch is turned on after battery disconnect switch has
been turned off and back on, error codes 1 and 24 may alternately
display for one minute. This error code indicates that temporary
settings were lost while battery disconnect switch was off, and is
consistent with normal operation.
Replace damaged or bent stowage cylinder (WP 0064).
MALFUNCTION
Faulty Space 4000 ST box.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
With engine on, press RETRIEVE button on control panel and check for 24V supply on P8 pin 1
and 2 in Space 4000 ST box.
a.
If no 24V, replace Space 4000 ST box (WP 0070).
b.
If 24V, proceed to Malfunction Unstow harness open circuit.
MALFUNCTION
Unstow harness open circuit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Set ignition switch and battery disconnect switch to OFF position (PLS: TM 9-2320-364-14&P,
HEMTT: TM 9-2320-326-14&P).
2.
Disconnect unstow harness from solenoid valve (WP 0067).
3.
Set ignition switch and battery disconnect switch to ON position and start engine.
4.
Press retrieve button on control panel and check for 24V supply between pins 1 and 2 at the
solenoid end of unstow harness.
