TM 10-3930-675-20-20067 00-3WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED0067 00REMOVAL - CONTINUED5.Remove two water pump transfer connection screws (9).6.Remove three water pump mounting screws (15).NOTERotate water pump outward to access transfer connection for removal.7.Disconnect water transfer connection (12) and gasket (11) from engine and remove transfer connection and seal (13)from water pump (10). Discard gasket and seal.NOTEWater pump must be rotated outward and angled downward while being removed to allow pump to passthermostat housing support.8.Remove water pump (10) and seal (14). Discard seal.INSTALLATIONNOTEWater pump must be rotated outward from the top until transfer outlet clears thermostat housing support dur-ing installation.1.Install new seal (14) on water pump (10) and install water pump.2.Install new seal (13) on transfer connection (12) and install transfer connection into water pump (10).3.Rotate water pump (10) inward and install three water pump mounting screws (15). Tighten screws to 35 lb-ft (47 Nm).4.Install new gasket (11) on water pump transfer connection (12).5.Position transfer connection (12) and secure in place with two screws (9). Tighten screws to 18 lb-ft (24 Nm).1011121391415
