TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER AND OIL COOLER HOSES AND FITTINGS
REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

TRANSMISSION-TO-OIL COOLER HOSES INSTALLATION
1.
If removed, apply pipe sealant to threads of adapter fitting (13) and install fitting in transmission (1).
2.
Connect hose (2) to adapter fitting (13) and route hose to transmission oil cooler lower unit (9).
3.
Secure hose (2) to transmission oil cooler lower unit (9) with new o-ring seal (7), flange (6), and four screws (5).
4.
Install hose clamp (12), screw (10), and washers (11) to secure hose (2).
5.
If removed, apply pipe sealant to adapter fitting (3) and install fitting in transmission (1).
6.
Connect hose (4) to adapter fitting (3) and route hose to transmission oil cooler upper unit (8).
7.
Secure hose (4) to transmission oil cooler upper unit (8) with new o-ring seal (7), flange (6), and four screws (5).
8.
Check transmission oil level and add oil as needed (LO 10-3930-675-12).
9.
Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.
10.
Install transmission access covers (WP 0135 00).
11.
Install engine cover (WP 0143 00).
12.
Return cab to operational position (TM 10-3930-675-10).
TRANSMISSION-TO-OIL FILTER HOSES REMOVAL
WARNING
At operating temperature, hydraulic oil is hot. Allow hydraulic oil to cool before disconnecting any hydrau-
lic lines. Failure to do so could result in injury.
NOTE
Tag all transmission hydraulic oil hoses.
