TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER AND OIL COOLER HOSES AND FITTINGS

TRANSMISSION-TO-OIL FILTER HOSES INSTALLATION
1.
If removed, apply pipe sealant to threads of adapter fittings (15) and install fittings in transmission (1).
2.
Connect hoses (14, 16, and 17) to three adapter fittings (15).
3.
Route hoses (14, 16, and 17) as noted in removal and connect opposite end of hoses to transmission oil filter head (22).
4.
Install two hose clamps (18), screw (19), washer (21), and nut (20) to hoses (14 and 16).
5.
Check transmission oil level and add oil as needed (LO 10-3930-675-12).
6.
Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.
7.
Install transmission access covers (WP 0135 00).
8.
Install engine cover (WP 0143 00).
9.
Return cab to operational position (TM 10-3930-675-10).
