TM 10-3930-675-20-20115 00-2TRANSMISSION OIL, OIL FILTERS, AND OIL FILTER HEADREPLACEMENT - CONTINUED0115 00TRANSMISSION OIL DRAINING - CONTINUED1.Position a suitable container under transmission.2.Remove plug (1) from transmission (2) and allow oil to drain.TRANSMISSION OIL FILLING1.Apply pipe sealant to threads of plug (1) and install plug to transmission (2).2.Fill transmission with oil (LO 10-32930-675-12).3.Start engine (TM 10-3930-675-10) and check for leaks.4.Shut down engine and check transmission oil level (LO 10-3930-675-12). Add oil as necessary to obtain proper level.5.Perform transmission calibration (WP 0195 00).TRANSMISSION OIL FILTERS REMOVALWARNINGAt operating temperature, transmission oil is hot. Allow transmission to cool before performing maintenanceon transmission or transmission system components. Failure to do so could result in injury to personnel.
