If wear plate is not as specified,replace wear plate.STYLE A WEAR PLATE INSTALLATION1.Measure thickness of shims (6) removed from wear plate location. Shim measurement MUST NOT exceed 0.25 in (6.4mm). Remove shims as necessary so as not to exceed requirement.NOTETotal thickness of wear plate and shims for style A location must not exceed 1.25 in (31.8 mm).2.Install wear plate (5) and shims (6) as needed in sliding carriage frame (4).3.Position cover (3) and secure in place with six screws (1) and washers (2).
