Ensure spacer block isretained and replaced.a.Remove 10 screws (19), washers (20), and two access panels (21 and 22) from side of each extending beam.b.With assistance, extend or retract beams to expose internal-mounted style B wear plates (TM 10-3930-675-10).c.Position tophandler beams on cribbing to aid in relieving weight from load-bearing wear plates.d.Perform procedures in step 1 above to remove wear plate, frame, backing plate, and mounting plate.STYLE B WEAR PLATE INSTALLATION1.To install a style B wear plate mounted on sideshift carriage frame, perform the following:a.Position wear plate (14), frame (15), spacer (13), and spacer (12) on sideshift carriage frame (9).b.Aline and install screw (7) and washer (8) to secure wear plate (14) in position on sideshift carriage frame (9).Hand tighten screw.c.Aline holes in mounting plate (12) with sideshift carriage frame (9) and install four screws (10) and washers (11).d.Tighten all screws in accordance with Torque Limits (WP 0198 00).e.Perform operational check of tophandler (TM-10-3930-675-10).19,202122
