TM 10-3930-675-20-20156 00-4WINDSHIELD WIPER MAINTENANCE - CONTINUED0156 00FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPER AND MOTOR INSTALLATIONNOTETo install wiper blade only, perform step 9.1.Install windshield wiper motor (21) to cover (13) with windshield wiper motor shafts (14) thru cover. Install two newseals (15), nuts (16), and plastic caps (17).2.Connect ground wire (23) to motor (21) with screw (26).3.Connect wiring harness connector (24) to motor connector (25).4.Install grommet (10) and nipple (11) to cover (13). Connect hose (22) to nipple.NOTEEnsure all old gasket forming compound has been removed and mounting surfaces are clean.5.Apply gasket forming compound to panel (18). Install cover (13) with windshield wiper motor to panel with four wash-ers and capnuts (12).NOTEPerform step 6 to install steering arm and wiper arm.6.Lift cover and install steering arm (7) and wiper arm (6) to windshield wiper motor shafts (14) with new lockwasher(20) and nut (19).
