Idle engine 3-5 minutes to allow it to warm up. Verify that all indicator and warninglights operate properly on driver’s ECS display screen.11.Drive vehicle without a load and check engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and electrical accessories for proper oper-ation (TM 10-3930-675-10). 12.Check operation of boom and tophandler (TM 10-3930-675-10).PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT1.Follow instructions in TM 10-3930-675-10 to prepare the RTCH for the following transport modes:•Highway Transport on M1000 Trailer•Rail Transport•Marine Transport•Air Transport2.Ensure RTCH transmission control lever is in Neutral (N) and parking brake is applied.3.Ensure RTCH wheels are securely blocked and adequate tiedowns are used.4.For rail and marine transport, seal all openings in engine, including air intake, exhaust outlet, and crankcase breathertube.5.Check engine coolant to ensure coolant has correct mixture for expected temperatures (TB 750-651).WARNINGCheck travel route for overpass and bridge clearances. If clearances are not adequate, an accident causinginjury or death to personnel or damage to equipment could result.6.For highway transport, check state and local laws governing weight, width, and length of load.END OF WORK PACKAGE
