TOPHANDLER WEAR PLATES REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

STYLE E WEAR PLATE REMOVAL
NOTE
If measurement of wear plate is less 0.5 in. (12.7 mm), perform this procedure to replace wear plate.
1.
Position sliding beam on cribbing to relieve weight on wear plate (37) in sideshift carriage (24).
2.
Through access hole in bottom of sideshift carriage (24), remove two screws (39) and washers (40) from lock plate (38).
3.
Slide wear plate (37) and lock plate (38) from sideshift carriage (24).

STYLE E WEAR PLATE INSTALLATION
1.
Position wear plate (37) with lock plate (38) on sideshift carriage (24).
2.
Align lock plate (38) holes with holes in sideshift carriage (24).
Install two screws (39) and washers (40) to secure wear plate (37). Tighten screws in accordance with Torque Limits
3.
4.
Perform operational check of tophandler (TM-10-3930-675-10).
