ENGINE MOUNTS AND LIFTING BRACKETS REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REAR ENGINE MOUNT INSTALLATION
1.
Position shock mount (12) and secure in place with two screws (15), four washers (16 and 17), and two nuts (18).
Tighten nuts to 125 lb-ft (169 Nm).
NOTE
Ensure engine and transmission are supported by suitable lifting device and remove trestle from under engine.
2.
With assistance, lower rear support bracket (19) into position over shock mount (12) and secure with screw (10) and
washer (11). Tighten screw to 288 lb-ft (390 Nm).
3.
Position rear support bracket (19) on engine and secure four screws (20) and washers (21). Tighten screws to 115 lb-ft
(156 Nm).
4.
Position rear support bracket (19) on transmission and secure with two screws (22) and washers (23). Tighten screws to
100 lb-ft (135 Nm).
5.
Set rear support bracket adjusting screws (13) for a clearance of 0.12 in. (3 mm) and tighten jamnuts (14).
6.
Install access covers (WP 0142 00).
7.
Return cab to operational position (TM 10-3930-675-10).
8.
Install engine cover (WP 0148 00).
