FRONT ENGINE MOUNT REMOVAL - CONTINUED

Remove screw (10) and washer (11) securing front engine mount (9) to shock mount (12).
4.
Remove two nuts (18), four washers (16 and 17), and two screws (15) securing shock mount (12) in place.
5.
Lift engine (6) slightly to relieve pressure on shock mount (12). Remove shock mount.
NOTE
To remove front engine mount, perform steps 6 and 7.
6.
Remove six screws (7) and washers (8) securing front engine mount (9) to engine (6).

Remove front engine mount (9) from vehicle.

FRONT ENGINE MOUNT INSTALLATION
NOTE
If front engine mount was removed, perform step 1 to reinstall.
1.
Apply a light coat of sealing compound to front engine mount (9) and install on engine (6) with six washers (8) and
screws (7). Tighten screws to 50 lb-ft (68 Nm).
NOTE
Ensure engine is supported by suitable lifting device and remove trestle from under front of engine.

Position shock mount (12) and secure in place with two screws (15), four washers (16 and 17), and two nuts (18).
Tighten nuts to 125 lb-ft (169 Nm).

Position front engine mount (9) over shock mount (12) and secure with screw (10) and washer (11). Tighten screw to
288 lb-ft (390 Nm).
4.
Set front engine mount adjusting screws (13) for a clearance of 0.12 in. (3 mm) and tighten jamnuts (14).

Return cab to operational position (TM 10-3930-675-10).
