Release pressure on valve spring (4) slowly.

Remove valve spring retainer (6), valve spring (4), and valve spring wear plate (7).

NOTE
Intake and exhaust valves are manufactured from different material and are NOT interchangeable.
Mark each valve for location to ensure correct installation.
