Apply a coating of clean lubricating oil to housing shaft bore and thrust bearing (15) surface.
7.
Install shaft and gear assembly (16) into housing.

CAUTION
Thrust bearing MUST be installed with grooved surface facing thrust surface of housing. Failure to
install thrust bearing correctly may cause improper lubrication and damage to drive assembly.
8.
Apply a coating of lubriplate to grooved surface of thrust bearing (15) and install thrust bearing over shaft.
