WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during
procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep
clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may result in
death or injury to personnel.
NOTE
Torque converter contains oil and is subject to spillage if positioned shaft side down when removed.
Ensure spills are cleaned up immediately.
2.
Slide torque converter (4) from transmission bell housing (5).
3.
Place torque converter (5) with transmission side up on suitable cribbing.
