WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance
during procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warn-
ing may result in death or injury to personnel.
Main control valve weighs approximately 100 lb (45 kg). Lifting device must have sufficient
capacity to lift control valve. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
6.
Wrap a nylon sling around control valve (5) and attach sling to a suitable lifting device.
7.
Remove four screws (14), washers (15), and control valve (5) from frame (16) and lower from vehicle.
NOTE
Perform step 8 to remove fittings from control valve, if a new control valve is being installed.

Remove two fittings (2), fittings (11), and fitting (12) from control valve (5).

Perform step 1 to install fittings removed from old control valve, if a new control valve is being
installed.

Install fitting (12), two fittings (11), and fittings (2) on control valve (5).
