Using pipe wrench or spanner wrench, loosen and unscrew gland nut (4).
4.
Slide rod (5) out of housing (1) to separate rod assembly from housing (1).
5.
Remove clevis (not shown) attached to rod (5) end, by loosening locknut (3), and unscrew both to remove from rod.
6.
Remove gland nut (4) from rod (5).
7.
Remove all seals (2) from gland nut (4) and rod piston (6), and discard.
